Oh, I love your delivery on those last couple of lines!
Deftly handled writing, as well... the sincerity of the emotion comes across loud and clear, without going over the top... In the hands of a lesser lyricist, that might've been a problem...

Wonderfully told thru the eyes of a child. Feels like you had that one in you for a while! Nice arrangment and sweet vocals and lyrics. The guitar playin and melodies are great.

this has a lovely upbeat quality to the song, and again i like that old worlde sound in the recording, particularly given the lyrical content. What a beautiful story, set against an infectious, got to nod along, guitar rhythm and vocal melody. Yet another fantastic song..

Very nice guitar playing. The theme of the song has wonderful depth. Songs like this make Folk Music great!
